Dual-monitor setups are also catered to, with the image browser on one screen and the full-sized image on the other. It's also worth noting that high DPI screens are quite well-supported.

At 4K resolution on a fairly powerful modern Windows laptop, full-screen adjustments lag real time by a fraction of a second, but at Full HD resolution they're essentially instant. High DPI displays are supported well, and touch/pen control is availableДЄs soon as the data has copied to your machine, thumbnails appear near-instantly, and full-sized previews also render within moments. Exposure X5 can transfer images from your camera or flash card if desired, but there's otherwise no lengthy wait for images to be added to the database and previews created. The difference is especially noticeable when you first open a newly-offloaded folder of images.
